This is the most beautiful little dress! The quality is great and we absolutely loved it. However, my daughter is 2 years old and 2 months (34 inches tall / 54the percentile for Her height) and we purchased a 2T (smallest size available) and it was too long/too big. We had to fold it in at the shoulder seams to shorten it and create a temporary hem at the bottom of the dress so she wouldn't trip walking in it (for a wedding). Therefore, I'd place these running about a 1/2 to a size off. She's petite (at only 24 1/2 lbs) but the length was more of a factor in the this case. If you have a tall 2 year old, then this would be fine.
